Refer a Friend at Turbiini
The referral offer pays you for bringing another player onto the platform. It is unusual in two ways: the reward is triggered by someone else's activity rather than your own, and the terms are policed harder than any other promotion, because a bonus paid per new account is the most abused format in the industry. Both facts shape everything below.
Check the referral termsHow the offer is built
A refer a friend campaign has three moving parts. Your unique invite link, generated inside the account area. A qualifying action by the person who uses it, almost always a first deposit plus a minimum amount of play. And a reward, paid to you and often to your friend as well, sometimes in cash and more often as bonus balance with its own conditions. Remove any one of the three and nothing pays, which is why the sequence matters more than the headline number.
How the invite link works
The link carries an identifier that ties a new registration back to your account. It has to be the route by which your friend arrives: if they open the site directly, or through a different channel, and register there, the attribution is lost and support generally cannot repair it afterwards. Some implementations use a referral code entered in the sign-up form instead of a link, which is more robust because it survives a cleared browser. Whichever mechanism your account offers, the rule is the same — the connection is made at registration and never later.
What your friend has to do
Signing up is not enough. The typical qualifying chain is registration through your link, identity verification, a first deposit at or above the minimum, and a defined amount of real-money play afterwards. In euros that means at least EUR 20 through Trustly online banking or Skrill, EUR 25 by SEPA bank transfer, or around EUR 50 in Litecoin or USDT. Some campaigns also require the friend to remain active for a set number of days, which is what stops a reward being paid on an account that deposits once and disappears.
The referral chain, step by step
| Step | Who acts | Typical requirement | When the reward moves |
|---|---|---|---|
| Generate the invite link | You | Active, verified account | Nothing yet |
| Friend registers via the link | Friend | Own details, own household rules apply | Attribution recorded |
| Friend passes KYC | Friend | ID, proof of address, payment proof | Still pending |
| Friend deposits | Friend | From EUR 20 on Trustly or Skrill | Partial trigger |
| Friend plays through | Friend | A stated amount of real-money play | Reward becomes payable |
| Reward credited | Operator | Review for duplicate accounts | Usually within days, not instantly |
Terms attached to the referral bonus
Read the reward format first. If it is credited as cash it is withdrawable straight away and reaches Trustly or Skrill in one to two hours. If it is credited as bonus balance it carries a wagering requirement like any other offer, with the same weighting problem: slots count fully, live tables commonly 10 to 20 per cent. Beyond that, expect a cap on how many friends can be rewarded per period, an expiry on the reward itself, and a rule that both accounts must remain in good standing when it is paid. The general clauses are on our bonus terms page and the arithmetic on our wagering page.
Abuse limits and why they exist
Self-referral is the obvious failure mode: one person, several accounts, a reward paid on each. Operators counter it at verification, and the checks are blunt on purpose. Shared devices, shared IP addresses, shared payment instruments and matching address details on a proof of address will all flag a pair of accounts, even when the players are genuinely different people living in the same household. If you and a flatmate both play, expect the referral reward to be refused and the underlying accounts to be reviewed. That is inconvenient rather than unfair, and it is not worth arguing about after the fact.
Is it worth the social cost
Our position is unromantic. A referral reward is small relative to what the invited player will spend, and the person you invite absorbs the real cost of the offer. Sending a link to someone who already plays elsewhere and asked for a recommendation is reasonable. Sending it to someone who does not gamble, or who has struggled with it, is not, and no reward covers that. Finnish support routes are worth knowing before you press send: Peluuri and its helpline, the Peli poikki programme, the Tiltti drop-in points, and Gamban for device-level blocking. Gambling is for adults aged 18 and over.
